Update for 9/18 USAF 5k in Dayton:

Sheryl, Fred and our son-in-law, Keith all took part in this impressive adjunct to the USAF Marathon. The organizational details were amazing. Air Force dignitaries spoke and, after the national anthem, two fighter jets swooped down over the runners in a breathtaking display. Kensia and Finn, who rode the course in our huge jog stroller, were appropriately stunned! It was a beautiful early evening run through and around Wright State University campus. I jogged and walked equally, Fred jogged more than walked, but Keith ran the whole course! Salem and Grandma were in charge of photography and greeting the finishers, respectively. We were all very happy and grateful to be able to take part in this special event.

Pictures coming soon.
